Let me start this post of by apologizing for my hideous microphone, I’ll make sure to pick up a much better one before I post any more videos on this blog
With that out of the way, here is a quick video of my entry to Twilio’s WP7 Netbook contest. Keep in mind that I’ve only been working on it for four days now and that it will certainly get some much needed polish in the near future.
Currently it will allow you to send out your updates using either SMS or Phone and text to speech, as well as allow for your contacts to leave a message for you if they are set up as Phone contacts.
Let me know what you think, or any suggestions you may have in the comments bellow.

This is awesome..
. I love the way how neatly you have twilio and wp7 talk talk to each other….
Interface is amazing …
Good work !!
Thanks for the kind words, to be fair, it wasn’t all that difficult given the API that Twilio provided.
BTW Nice blog theme
but how did you get the recent tweets bit to work, I’ve been having nothing but trouble with it
hey there..
About theme.. I know ..
its a coincidence though ..
Regarding the recent tweets .. hmm I dont remember doing anything special though.. it worked out of the box for me..
and hey .. congrats for winning the netbook…!!!
Would you be sharing the code sometime soon
I won’t be releasing the entire codebase, as I hope to be turning this into a viable product. However if there is any specific part of it that you’d like to know more about, I’d be more than happy to put together a tutorial.
Also, there are a couple of gotcha’s in the current API for WP7 that I’m looking at fixing (gotta love git hub).
No kidding man.. its really a nice product… and soon to become geeky dads (like me .. hhehe
) will love to use it …
I will buy this if this is in the market for sure ..
and yeah.. git hub rocks .. !!
Congrats man!!!
Assuming this is your first, it’s amazing how quickly kids change your priorities in life!
How would you like to be the first Alpha/Beta tester?
Hey thanks man.. !!!
yes it is our first.. and looking 4wd to it..
.
I would love to be a tester for this app man..

The only part which I am unsure how its done.. is .. the tap to play the media..
I have hard time downloading a stream of media from internet and playing it ..
when ever you have time if you could shed some light
and one more question…
How did you manage to type in the wp7 emulator using your keyboard..
Might be a stupid question.. but i cant figure that thing out .. :S
it’s either page up or page down to switch between the keyboard within the emulator and the keyboard of your PC
